Teaching
I have taught for over 15 years—from beginners to advanced musicians—and tailor my approach to each student’s needs. From 2015-19, I was an instructor of secondary harpsichord lessons at the Yale School of Music. I was also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Humanities at SUNY Purchase from 2023-24 before beginning my PhD at Cambridge.
My primary aim is to instill a lifelong love and appreciation for music, guiding the student to explore any aspects of music they most enjoy. In addition to acquiring technique and understanding music and its forms, I encourage my students to express themselves naturally through music.
My approach is interdisciplinary. In my lessons, I incorporate the study of music history, theory, and improvisation with modern pedagogical techniques that engage the student’s interests. I believe having a broad understanding of music’s contexts enriches the overall learning experience.
I am available to teach piano, harpsichord, music theory, improvisation, and composition.

I look forward to hearing from you!
